Rippleton Public School’s first ever Dance-a-thon!  February 14^th 2013!

Pledge sheets will come home with students shortly.  All funds raised will be used for much needed technology improvements.

Parking Problems

Please make sure you are using the parking lot properly.  If the situation continues as is the school may need to make changes to the drop off / pick up procedures in order to ensure everyone's safety.

RAPT is looking for concerned parents to form a Parking Lot Safety Committe to suggest ways we can improve the parking situation.  If you would like to help, please email RAPT at rippletonrapt@hotmail.com

3 Things You Missed at the Last RAPT Meeting

1. School Board is moving ahead with modular unit at the northwest corner of the school to accomodate all day kindergarten.  Access will be from within the school.
2. Dance-a-thon Fundraiser for much needed computer equipment will occur February 14 and pledge sheets will go home with students shortly.
3. RAPT hopes to host a possible social skate in early February pending location confirmation.

Mitten Tree

Thank you to all the families who donated to our annual mitten tree.  The mittens and hats were sent through a Rippleton parent, to a Toronto school in need of these warm woolies.

Labour Update Sites

The ongoing labour dispute between the Teacher's Union and the provincial government does not appear to be moving towards any resolution in the near future.  If you would like to stay apprised of the situation we suggest you check the TDSB website under the 'Labour Relations' tab:
